Sintimates a year-long project that experimented with the healing properties of the combining visual art and poetry in the face of trauma. For each identifiable trauma a poem and a collage were created in order to make peace with the past. It is a collection of almost experiences each with visual and literary representation.

Each spread is 34''x 11'' presented in a hand-bound fleshy book.
The project was well received by peers and mentors and was successful in mending many wounds.
Flux Capacitor

The power of love
Makes time travel possible;
Take me back with you.

Ivories

His hands were strong and
They called him The Pianist.

                  Play your song softer.

Canada

The humming summer
Smoke and sky
Whisper in our ears.
We Close our eyes
And drink it in
To see the stars appear.
We glimpsed the signs
but couldn't read
The tightly wound up awe.
Our distilled skins
Hung up to dry
Surrendered to our flaws.

The Comedian

They laugh,
              I don't care.
Quality, not Quantity
Joke's on them, ain't it?

Snake
Your lips hide your fangs,
But your smile shows us
What you really are.

Take Me

Take me
Where the seedlings age
In fields so deep in hue.

Take me
Somewhere
I've seen inside
From whence the winds once blew.

Take me
Where the robin sings
Her ragged royal tune.

Take me
Where
We both might see
The setting of the moon.

And in that silver touch of life
A light has always shone,
A breath of air, a kiss of blue
A gift I've always known.
